Cultural Competence & Anti-Racism Peer Educator
Meet Chelsea
I trained with The Little Birth Company and I’m so glad I did. Wendy, Melissa and other members of the team are so supportive, positive and most of all they are striving to be as inclusive as possible.
I am very proud to have the role of cultural competence & anti-racism peer educator because I feel it’s so important for instructors to have an awareness of cultural differences in their potential clients, identify and challenge any biases they may have and also how they can actively be anti-racist moving forward. It’s my role to create a safe learning space for members of The Little Birth Company instructor community to grow as culturally sensitive practitioners. Birthing people from all ethnicities and backgrounds deserve to have positive experiences that hypnobirthing can lead to. In order to do this diversity and the inclusion of black and brown birthing people is needed in the world of hypnobirthing. I hope by working with our instructors, we can effect change to make that a reality.
