What Does the Hypnobirthing Teacher Training Involve?
Our training is delivered in a clear, step-by-step and supportive way, designed as a fully online self-study journey. The content is broken down into bite-sized, manageable modules so you can move through it at your own pace and fit it smoothly around your busy life.
Along the way, you’ll be supported inside our private trainee space, where you can ask questions, share reflections and feel encouraged as you progress through the course.
Support & Connection During Your Training
Although this is a self-study programme, you won’t be on the journey alone. During your training — and for six months after you qualify — you’ll have the opportunity to connect with us and other trainees inside our private Facebook group.
This space is designed to offer support, encouragement and connection while you learn and begin stepping into your role as a Hypnobirthing teacher.
You’ll also be invited to join us for live connection calls, where you can ask questions, share experiences, receive guidance and feel part of a supportive community of like-minded teachers.
We know how valuable connection and mentorship can be when starting something new, and these sessions are a wonderful way to stay supported as you build your confidence and grow.
What to Expect From the Training
Foundation Modules - Self Study
If you are a qualified Doula or Midwife, you do not need to complete the coursework for the Birthing Foundations Module. However, you are welcome to access the teaching material if you’d like.
You’ll have around 4–6 weeks to complete the Foundation Modules coursework.
Training Videos - Self Study
Once your Foundation Modules are complete, you can start the training videos. The training videos are Wendy and Melissa teaching you in depth the Hypnobirthing knowledge, tools and techniques.
As you watch, you’ll also complete 25 written questions to support your learning. All videos and resources are available via the Trainee Hub.
Study Tips: We recommend planning around 3–4 hours per week for your study. Consistency will really help your progress. If you ever feel like you’re falling behind, please reach out – we’re here to support you.
Case Study
As part of your training, you will complete a Case Study element, giving you the opportunity to put your learning into practice.
Following your session, you will reflect on the experience, considering what went well and what you might improve. This process helps consolidate your learning, build confidence, and deepen your understanding of the role of a Hypnobirthing Teacher – all within a supportive and encouraging environment. More information will be shared about all the elements of the training in due course.
